The Museum of Image and Sound (MIS) is a public museum in São Paulo, opened in 1970. MIS invites its audience to think about memory and contemporaneity, technical investigation and makes art innovation more accessible to a wider audience of people than ever before. It is especially relevant today, when technology comes together with human sensitivity in artistic creation, and institutions adjust to social demands.
'Art and Cinema through the Posters' was a exhibition that assembled work by 20 selected artists, who elaborated the re-reading of 60 film posters, created using different techniques.
For the exhibition I was responsible for the interpretation of the movie Delicatessen by Jean Pierre Jeunet and Marc Caro, 2046 by Wong Kar-Wai and The Woman Without a Head by Lucrécia Martel.
